Built around your problems, not our products.
We help organisations across Asia-Pacific turn complex problems into platforms, AI and processes that people actually use. Clients come to us with a problem, not a technology: a process that no longer scales, a pilot that stalled, a platform that is costly to change, or a budget that is hard to justify.
The problems we solve most often
“Each distributor would have to build its own online store, so most never sell online.”
Digital Commerce“Every enquiry depends on someone reading it and deciding who should answer.”
Customer Success Platforms“Certifications, approvals and claims run on spreadsheets, email and macros, so nobody sees the full picture.”
Business Applications“Sites and stores are live, but nobody can see who visits or bring them back.”
Websites, CMS & Marketing“GenAI pilots impress in demos but never reach production.”
AI Assistants“Reports are compiled by hand from different systems, so they arrive late and nobody trusts them.”
Analytics & Dashboards“Platforms degrade quietly as runtimes, libraries and cloud services reach end of support.”
Managed ServicesOne team, from problem to production
Every engagement starts with the problem: who it affects, what it costs and what success looks like. We frame it with you and design the solution with the people who will use it. Most engagements start with a Craft Sprint: from problem to proof in two weeks, with a working prototype your stakeholders can try before they commit budget. Then the same team builds it, rolls it out and runs it for years, so nothing is lost at handover. See our approach.
Business, design and build, in the same hands
- 01Understand the businessThe problem, the people it affects and the numbers behind it, framed with the people who live it.
- 02Design the experienceScreens and flows that people actually use, tested with them in a working prototype, not a slide.
- 03Build and run itProduction-grade from the start, then rolled out, operated and improved.
Consultants and engineers, in one team
Founded in Singapore in 2011, our team brings together consultants who frame problems and design solutions, bilingual bridge engineers, and developers who build and run them. Since 2019 our development centre in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, has added engineering capacity close to the region. We work with regional headquarters, headquarters in Japan and businesses across Asia, especially in automotive, mobility and manufacturing, alongside Taira Promote in Japan.
Many of our relationships have lasted for years, some for more than ten. That's because we stay after launch, running platforms, improving them and working out the next problem worth solving with our clients.
Who leads the work
Ryuji Hirano
Director, Digital Strategy (APAC)
Leads digital strategy for Asia-Pacific at Taira Promote, which he joined in Singapore in 2018. He works with regional headquarters and headquarters in Japan from problem framing and Craft Sprint prototypes through to build, roll-out and long-term operation. Before that he worked on SAP-centred business and system integration at Accenture and IBM in Tokyo.
From technical illustration to working software
Taira Promote began in 1964 drawing technical illustrations, making complex machines understandable to the people who build, sell and service them. The craft has changed, but the job hasn't: we still turn complex problems into things people can understand and use.

Part of Taira Promote
In Japan, Taira Promote has worked for more than sixty years with many of the country's leading manufacturers in mobility, factory automation and life science.
The group helps them with a related problem: making complex products understood by the people who sell, use and service them, through training, manuals, video and market communication.
